Atticus Ryder

A published writer, illustrator and joker living in London

Who am I?

Born and raised in the countryside, I’ve has been a lifelong fan of practical jokes, LEGO, colourful adventures, and above all else – a good story.

I currently lives in the big smoke (London, England) with my family, I tap friends on the opposite shoulder and glues coins to the floor.

Back in secondary school I had the good fortune to bump into Derik the Dragon, whose tale helped me win a prize in a short story competition. Over the years other characters like Albert the Dancing Troll, Percy the useless Wizard, Hoot the owl and Old Man Ferris and  gave me their stories to tell.

Still can’t quite believe I’ve published 3 books!

Twilight Tales, fantastical short stories for reluctant readers

The Minor Gentleman, a novella with music, magic and a mystery for Lucy to solve

I’ve Got No Stripes, a rhyming romp picture book in a zoo

More coming with Tea O’Clock and Twilight Returns!

Drop me a note. You’ll find me with my character’s adventures in a local local library and coffee shop.
